Leicester Riders have moved to re-sign the 2018 WBBL Trophy Final MVP, Kate Oliver as the WBBL season continues.
Oliver joined the Riders late in the season last year, helping the team to make two showpiece Finals and winning the first WBBL silverware for the club.
The Australian forward averaged 10.8 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game in the WBBL Championship.
Head coach, Jesper Sundberg is pleased to add another experienced former player to the line up.
He stated: “We are happy to have Kate returning to the programme. She is an efficient player who knows the league and the Riders environment and will make a quick impact on the team.”
The player herself is excited to be back in Leicester with the Riders and keen to now get back on the floor.
She added:”I can’t wait to get back on the court and play the game that I’ve always loved. I am looking forward to a great season with a great bunch of people.”
