Team Northumbria have made it six wins in a row after beating Oaklands Wolves 79-60 on the road, in their pursuit of a top four spot in the WBBL Championship table.

Northumbria have now won all five WBBL meetings between these teams, including three this season all of which have come in their recent unbeaten spell.

Turning point – The hosts were still within striking distance at half time, trailing by eight, but Northumbria dominated the third quarter to settle the game. They clamped down on defence to allow Wolves just eight points in ten minutes, while Ali Gorrell and Evelyn Ovner powered the visitors to 22 third quarter points.
