It’s time to wrap up all things #theWBBL during what proved to be a historic week for more than one reason.
Not only was it the first ever WBBL Cup Final, it witnessed a victory for Manchester Mystics against Nottingham Wildcats as the north-west club claimed their first ever piece of WBBL Silverware.
They did it live on BBC Sport worldwide and a staggering 134,000+ views on the BBC Sport facebook page!
There were also some great photos and one of the favourites was recent Mystics’ signing Lauren Thomas-Johnson and her little baby boy!
Keeping with the family theme, Great Britain’s Dominique Allen took the MVP honours on her return to Birmingham and celebrated with her mum and former BBL playing Dad Clive!
Of course Manchester’s daughter and father combo Georgia and Jeff Jones also attained success together and Jones Junior reiterated her appreciation!
Jones and Allen also showed the strength of the Great Britain family with their work together – as Hoopsfix Women recognised!
