Both WBBL Trophy semi-finals are now set after a decisive Saturday afternoon in the competition. The two southern groups had already been settled, with Leicester Riders meeting Sevenoaks Suns in the semis; and now, in the north, Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters have progressed to face Durham Palatinates.

Hatters scored an impressive road win at Manchester Mystics, with a double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds from Sarah Toeaina leading them to an 80-67 win in pursuit of their second piece of silverware of the campaign.

Earlier in the day, Palatinates had reached their first semi-final since joining the WBBL after beating Caledonia Pride 93-58 as Monika Bosilj scored 20 points.

Finally, Oaklands Wolves secured second place in the South 2 group after solid defence led them to a 68-59 defeat of Cardiff Met Archers, with Roya Rutamzada scoring 17 points.
