We’re into March, but still the debutantes continue to flow, with another two this week.

Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee (Durham Palatinates)
No stranger to our line-up in previous seasons, Fong Lyew Quee makes her debut appearance in our fab five whilst donning Durham colours. The Great Britain playmaker put in a ‘captain fantastic display’ against Lions with a superb double-double of 20 points and 10 assists.

Jen Ashton (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)
Hatters produced one of their most-eye-catching displays and results of the season in their home match-up with Manchester and it was Ashton who led the way. She torched Mystics with a dazzling 16 points, 8 assists and 6 steals as she brought it at both ends of the floor.

Cat Carr (Sevenoaks Suns)
The Suns’ leader shone brightly at Sport Central as Sevenoaks outclassed Team Northumbria with a huge win that was founded on the contribution of Carr. She amassed 22 points after a stellar 8 of 11 from the field, also dishing up 8 assists to go with 2 boards and a steal.

Cierra Ceazer (Durham Palatinates)
Consecutive appearances means history as the first player from Durham to accomplish that feat and it also completes a first Palatinates double with Fong Lyew Quee also making our fab five. Ceazer had 23 points, 6 boards, 3 steals and 2 assists against Lions.

Julia Koppl (Sevenoaks Suns)
Our second debutante is the Sevenoaks forward who starred in her team’s first victory of their win double in the North-East. Koppl was too hot to handle in the paint for Palatinates and claimed a big double-double of 12 points and a mighty 18 rebounds, as well as handing out an impressive 6 assists.
