First Half

This was short-lived; however, the Hatters found their rhythm quickly and took the lead before leading by 14 at the end of the opening period.

The second quarter was a lot closer between the two sides, but the Palatinates could not close to gap to the Hatters, who extended their advantage by a solitary point going into the half.

The third period followed the same trend as the two which had preceeded it, and with a commanding lead going into the final period, the Hatters showed no mercy as they had their highest-scoring quarter of the game in the fourth to see out a 29-point win.
