Social Media Spotlight

We take our weekly look at all things #theWBBL from the world of social media…….

It may have been a couple of weeks ago, but the BBC Sport game between Barking and Oaklands continues to stir interest and especially our highlights package on Facebook of a super display from Kyla Nelson which attained terrific interest.

 

 

We also focused on Imani Whittington of Crusaders who reiterated the depth of rising British talent in the league!

 

 

There was our usual WBBL All-Star Five of course – based on last weekend’s action……and also 24 hours earlier than normal. What can we say? We like to keep everyone on their toes and apologies to those who almost choked on their cornflakes thinking it was actually Wednesday!

 

 

That line-up included Riders’ guard Alex Smith who accumulated a special triple-double against Wolves and we shone our spotlight on her passing the rock…….

 

 

Siobhan Prior is adding more strings to her bow on top of her play with Wildcats, BBC Sport commentary – now she is picking up her pen for a new blog!

 

 

Ana Popovic of Leicester Riders has committed her medium term future Stateside!
