It’s time to take a look at all things #theWBBL in the past week and we’re starting out with an award.

Yes, step forward Stef Collins.

Thank you Section IV for the incredible honour. I have very fond memories from my time at Odessa-Montour and it has come full circle 16 years later… in 2001 we were playing on the same court for the Section IV Finals in which I was inducted. Thank you Greg Gavich for the nomination and for all of your support over the years, keep carrying the OM Pride torch coach! A special S/O to my family who made my hoop dreams possible, driving all over NY, up and down the East Coast to support me. And lastly, to Frank Gavich who invested endless hours coaching and mentoring me, I'm forever grateful and my basketball journey continues because of a timeless tale #remembertheelephantstory #experienceisthebestteacher

Meanwhile in terms of on-court matters……..we showcased some really nice plays in Edinburgh from visiting Team Northumbria guard, Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee.

There was also a bit of a monster block from Leicester Riders’ forward Mollie Campbell

Yesterday was International Women’s Day and a few of #theWBBL family were quick to reference it – including Manchester Mystics’ Lauren Thomas-Johnson
