Sevenoaks Suns have ensured added continuity for the forthcoming WBBL season with the return of Renee Busch, Millie Watkins and Kaitlyn Lewis.
The WBBL Trophy and Play-Off winners show no signs of slowing down during a busy pre-season, with head coach Len Busch thrilled to have more familiar faces back on board.
He said: “Renee was a huge addition to us for the second half of last season. Her work ethic was contagious and her shooting ability helped spread the floor for us.
“She definitely helped us punish teams that focused too much on Cat Carr. Now she’s looking forward to a full season in the WBBL.
“I am very happy that Millie Watkins has decided to return for another season. She is a terrific teammate and a real professional who helps us in a lot of ways that outsiders might not see. She makes practices better and brings a vast amount of experience to our club.
“Meanwhile Kaitlyn has been with Suns since she was U14 and will always have a home with us,” continued the play-caller.
“I am hoping that she can make a full recovery from the knee trouble that limited her at the end of last season.”
Suns aren’t finished yet and will be announcing a marquee signing tomorrow as they add the finishing touches to a side that they hope will challenge for more honours.
