Team Northumbria responded to an opening loss last week by earning their first win on the road at Cardiff Met Archers.
Chris Bunten’s side pulled away in the second half to get their league campaign up and running.

Turning Point – There was little to separate the two going into half-time, but Northumbria held the home side to seven points in the third before breaking away to lead by as many as 15 at 33-48 in the fourth.
Key Stat – Cardiff’s shooting struggles saw them finish at 24% from the field with 10 points in the paint with the visitors dominating inside with 22.
Game Hero – Alison Gorrell top scored with a game-high 16 points, while Kara Bonenberger added another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds along with 57% shooting.
