Oaklands Wolves have progressed to the WBBL Cup quarter finals after a scintillating 73-71 overtime victory on the road at BA London Lions.
Krisztina Nagy produced the late heroics, while Wolves were led overall by Kellie Ring to a first ever win over Lions, and a second win in their last three games.

Turning point – This game went all the way and didn’t turn until Krisztina Nagy hit a three-pointer on the overtime buzzer to win it for the visitors. They had trailed in overtime, but finished with an 8-2 run inside the final two minutes.
Key stat – Despite not shooting well overall, Wolves did so when it counted: they shot 50% from the field in overtime, including 4/5 inside the final two minutes.
Game hero – Nagy will take the headlines, but Kellie Ring led the scoring with 18 points, five rebounds and five assists; while Rachel Morris posted a massive double-double of 14 points and 17 rebounds.
