There were some important movements in the WBBL Championship as Leicester Riders, Caledonia Pride and Manchester Mystics all recorded wins on Saturday.

The second-placed Riders beat third-placed Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters 74-72 to see the top two break away from the pack. Riders move to 9-1, while Hatters slip to 8-3.

Just behind them, Mystics have moved up into the top four after over-powering Oaklands Wolves 76-47 on the road to make it three away wins in a row.

Finally, Caledonia Pride came through overtime to beat Cardiff Met Archers 71-66 and leap over their Celtic rivals into seventh place in the table.
