It was a historic weekend in the WBBL Championship as rookies Durham Palatinates finally claimed their first ever league win by beating BA London Lions 54-63 as Cierra Ceazer amassed 26 points.
Leicester Riders are the new WBBL Championship leaders as they wrecked the previously flawless league record of Sevenoaks Suns by taking a hard fought 61-65 road win at their rivals. Kate Oliver was the difference-maker with 18 points.
Elsewhere, Ashley Harris put in one of the best individual performances of the campaign as Nottingham Wildcats beat Caledonia Pride 74-55. The forward amassed a spectacular double-double of 24 points and 21 boards.
Christina Schnorr also brought the noise as she garnered 22 points and 13 rebounds for Cardiff Met Archers in an eye-catching 59-65 victory at Team Northumbria.
Finally, the resurgent Oaklands Wolves saw their recent good form curtailed as Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters took a 65-73 road win behind 20 points from Jen Ashton.
