It was a scorching March for Jen Ashton of Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters and the guard has been rewarded for her rich vein of form with the Molten WBBL Player of the Month award.
The playmaker carried her side to a 4-1 record during the period, including a double over rivals Manchester Mystics, the latter propelling Hatters into the Semi-Finals of the WBBL Trophy.
Ashton came close to recording a stellar double-double during the month, amassing 14.2 points per game and also handing out a spectacular 9.4 assists per outing.
She also did the business at the other end of the floor, leading the WBBL in steals with 5 per game.
Ashton fought off a strong challenge from Cat Carr of Sevenoaks Suns to land the accolade.
