Sevenoaks Suns completed the Semi-Final lineup in the WBBL Cup after overcoming Newcastle Eagles on the road.

Len Busch’s side are unbeaten in the league and moved a step closer to another Final as they set up a showdown with Leicester Riders.

Turning point – The Eagles went into half-time with a slender advantage, but the Suns came out firing in the third and held the hosts to just five points in the quarter to take control and they raced away to victory.

Key stat – Sevenoaks had a 21-9 assists to turnovers mark, while Newcastle were at 11-17 with the visitors profiting from 22 points off of those turnovers.

Game hero(es) – Carr filled the stat-sheet with 24 points along with six rebounds, eight assists and two steals with three other players in double figures to help the Suns stay unbeaten this season.
