Sevenoaks Suns returned to the top of the WBBL Championship following a giant 51-point away victory over Newcastle Eagles.
The dominant win for Suns moves their unbeaten league record to 15-0 as the race for the league title continues to heat up.

Turning point – Newcastle got off to a rough start in the opening minutes of the first quarter, with Sevenoaks going on an 8-0 run before Eagles even got their first points on the scoring board. It wouldn’t get much better for the home side and as the period came to a close, Sevenoaks had established a 14 point lead, setting the tone for the remainder of the game.
