The B. Braun Sheffield Hatters are pleased to announce the signing of Cheyenne Stubbs for the 2025/26 season.
The 22-year-old 5’5” guard, hailing from Bradenton, Florida, has signed for the Hatters for the new Super League Basketball season in what will make her first season as a professional.
Cheyenne began her collegiate career at Canisius (Buffalo, New York) for two years, and then joined Utah State for her junior and senior years between 2023-2025. During her senior year with the Aggies, Stubbs averaged 16.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
Stubbs is looking forward to joining the Hatters, stating:
“I’m really excited to sign in Sheffield and begin my professional career in the UK. I spoke with Vanessa and our aims align well. I’ve heard great things about the city and the club so I can’t wait to get started.”
Hatters Head Coach Vanessa Ellis added:
“Cheyenne is a very talented guard who can shoot the ball well. She is a confident player and her college career will stand her in good stead as she begins her professional career with us.”
