Great Britain guard Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee enjoyed an exceptional finish to the WBBL Championship Regular Season with Durham Palatinates and that has resulted in her scooping the Molten WBBL Player of the Month award for April.
While Palatinates were only just edged out of the Play-Offs in what has been an eventful first season, the rookies almost grabbed a Quarter-Finals ticket thanks to the brilliance of their star guard.
Fresh from landing that Commonwealth Games silver medal with England on Australia’s Gold Coast, Fong Lyew Quee came back with the confidence flowing and in a rich vein of form.
She was the top scorer in the WBBL during April, pouring in a spectacular 30 points per game for her team, shooting almost 58% from the field and also serving up a super 6 assists per outing.
