It’s the penultimate All-Star Five line-up of the 2017-18 campaign and we now have a tie at the top of our season leaderboard.
Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee (Durham Palatinates)
The curtain came down for WBBL rookies Durham, but at least the Palatinates could celebrate signing off their maiden top flight year with a victory. That was due to a spectacular effort from Great Britain guard, Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee, who amassed a dazzling 36 points, along with 7 assists.
Rosanna Reynolds (Caledonia Pride)
The Pride were able to breathe a huge sigh of relief after they got a tight home win against Durham that got them over the line and into the Play-Offs. Much of that was down to the guard play of Reynolds, who came out of the contest with an all-action line of 17 points, 8 assists, 7 boards and 2 steals.
Christina Schnorr (Cardiff Met Archers)
The Cardiff forward chose a great time to deliver one of her best games of the season in what was a must-win game at BA London Lions. Schnorr was an absolute beast on the glass and corralled a mammoth 18 rebounds, also completing a double-double by sinking 12 points and also adding 4 assists.
Merissa Quick (Cardiff Met Archers)
They knew that only a win would give them any chance to make the Play-Offs and as subsequent results went their way, Archers made the Top 8. However it was that precious victory in the capital that was most pivotal, with Quick inspiring her team by amassing a stellar 25 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists.
Tricia Oakes (Caledonia Pride)
The imposing centre is now the joint season leader with Ashley Harris for the most appearances this season after she led Pride past the visiting Palatinates. Oakes produced a fine double-double after registering 17 points from a terrific 75% from the floor and also adding 12 rebounds, along with 4 assists.
