London Lions display another dominant performance at home for the second day in a row, beating Oaklands Wolves 103-30. The hosts go 4 points clear at the top of the table and remain unbeaten this season.

First Half
Despite playing just 24 hours ago, the team from London showed no early signs of fatigue heading into their game against the Wolves.
The Lions showed no mercy in the first quarter, with Savannah Wilkinson scoring the first bucket of the game within the first minute.
EuroCup Women star Holly Winterburn impressed with two 3-pointers as the hosts racked up 27 points to Oakland’s six by the end of the quarter.
The rest of the half told a similar story, as the Lions’ offence and defence continued to work together in harmony, with Abby Meyers and Shanice Beckford-Norton racking up their totals, making it very difficult for Oaklands to respond.
By the end of the half, the Lions had a 32-point buffer over the Wolves with 45-13.
Second Half
The second half saw Wilkinson come alive, racking up 10 points past the struggling Wolves defence.
Despite being 51 points up, the Lions showed no signs of slowing down against Oaklands. Six of the lions made it onto the score sheet in the third quarter, with fan-favourite Temi Fagbenle scoring two out of her four free-throws.
However, in the final quarter, the Wolves managed to break past the double-digit barrier in points scored in a quarter for the first time in the game.
But this wasn’t enough to tame the Lions, who scored 32 points in the final quarter to Oaklands’ 10, taking their lead to 103 by the end of the game with a 75-point lead over their deflated competitors.

Today’s Player of the Game goes to Lions’ Savannah Wilkinson, who was in a class of her own with an impressive 25pts, 16reb and 3ast.
