Nottingham Wildcats have continued their summer signing activity by announcing the acquisition of rookie centre Jo Langbehn for the 2025/26 Super League Basketball season.
Langbehn joins from NCAA Division I team, St Thomas University where she closed her final season with a Summit League All-Conference Honorable Mention having started all 30 games and finished with a 15.3pt, 5.3reb average alongside 38 assists, 9 blocks and 28 steals.
Her standout scoring performance was against Wichita State back in November 24 when she scored 30 points and notably accumulated 12 rebounds at Oral Roberts in January 25, ending the campaign with over seven games where she scored over 20 points.
Discussing her move to the Midlands for her rookie season, Langbehn said:
“I am very excited to be a Wildcat! It’s a great opportunity to play basketball with some amazing people in an amazing place. I’m super stoked to be able to have this experience!”
Wildcats Head Coach Karen Burton added:
“I am looking forward to working with Jo, she is an athletic big with great footwork around the rim. I am excited to see what she will do in the SLB this year.”
