Essex Rebels have today announced the new signing of Cameron Taylor–Willis.

Cameron joins the Essex Rebels after a successful junior and senior career with Ipswich basketball Club and has helped them secure several cups and trophies in the English national league.

She was named to Hoopsfix All-Star Classic in 2020 and was named MVP of the game posting an impressive double-double and guiding her team to victory.

Cameron made the decision earlier this year to study at the University of Essex and play with the Essex Rebels.

“We are all looking forward to seeing one of the countries rising stars in action in the WBBL”, said Tom Sadler, Head of Basketball Performance at the University of Essex.

Cameron added, “I’m excited to finally play in a Rebels jersey. Coming from NBL Division One, I’m excited to play and challenge myself in the league above. I can’t wait to get the season going.”
