Suns beat off stiff competition to land Fritz

Sevenoaks Suns have pipped a number of leading WBBL clubs to sign Hungarian standout Judit Fritz, who has been one of the top players in the league since its inception three years ago.

The versatile forward / wing has had some sensational numbers with Cardiff Met Archers in the past three seasons and was deservedly named to the Molten WBBL Team of the Year for her efforts in 2016-17.

Fritz  played at a FIBA U19 Women’s World Championship for her country earlier in her career and will be a major driver in Sevenoaks trying to snap up more silverware.

“I am very excited to have Judit join us,” smiled Suns’ Molten Ed Percival WBBL Coach of the Year, Len Busch.

“She has been one of the top players in the WBBL during the past few years. She can clearly score and play defence.

“I’m looking forward to seeing how her game unfolds playing alongside the likes of Cat Carr and TaYani Clark, and the rest of our lineup,” added the play-caller.
