There was double joy for Leicester Riders over the weekend as they keep up the pressure on unbeaten league leaders, Sevenoaks Suns.
Krumesh Patel’s side saw off Oaklands Wolves in an 87-68 home win before overcoming Cardiff Met Archers 47-59 on the road the next day.

Alex Smith handed out an impressive 15 assists in Saturday’s home success, while Dee Hayward led a balanced attack with 14 points on Sunday with the Scottish international delighted with the weekend.
“It was two great wins after a good break,” declared Hayward.
“Especially after the disappointing result before Christmas.
“It felt good to be back on the floor again and filled us with confidence.
“We are ready to take on the challenge of the second half of the season.”
Sevenoaks moved to 10-0 to continue their perfect start to their league campaign with a convincing 99-57 victory against Cardiff on BBC Sport on Friday night.
Ta’Yani Clark shone with a game-high 21 points with Judit Fritz netting 17 points against her former side, while Cat Carr had 17 points and eight assists.
Meanwhile, Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters picked up their eighth league win as they eased to a 78-57 win at home to Caledonia Pride.
Gianna Woods had a huge game with 25 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and four steals with Lauren Gregory putting up 13 points and 16 rebounds.
Manchester Mystics defeated BA London Lions 45-70 away from home with all five starters in double figures, while Team Northumbria came from behind to deny Durham Palatinates their first win in a 60-65 road triumph.
