The Great Britain playmaker was on fire against BA London Lions and helped her team rack up a big road win with a near triple-double display. Jones returned from the capital with an eye-catching 15 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to snatch her fourth starting berth of the campaign.
Ta’Yani Clark (Sevenoaks Suns)
Finishing 2017 with a flourish, Clark has also opened up 2018 in style and makes it back-to-back appearances in our fabulous five after showing out on BBC Sport. She carried Sevenoaks Suns past Cardiff Met Archers with an all-action 21 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and a block.
Holly Winterburn (Leicester Riders)
The Leicester Riders and Great Britain rising star made some serious noise off the bench for her side in the first victory of a weekend win double against Wolves and Archers. Winterburn took down Oaklands with a highly productive 14 points from 66% shooting, as well as 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Lauren Gregory (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)
It’s a first ever appearance in our line-up for the Hatters’ forward after she posted her best WBBL numbers in the match-up against Caledonia Pride. Gregory showed her quality on the glass with a massive 16 rebounds and completed a double-double with 13 points, also contributing 3 assists and 2 steals.
Gianna Woods (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)
The best performance of the week came from Woods as she helped Hatters to the victory against Pride which cemented their position as a league title contender. The forward delivered an eye-popping double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds, which was accompanied by 4 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks.
