The two teams heading to the O2 Arena on Sunday, May 18 have been confirmed following the SLB Play-Off Semi-Finals that took place over the weekend.

Oaklands Wolves 69-65 Caledonia Gladiators

Championship winners Oaklands Wolves advanced to the Play-Off Final with a nerve-wracking 69-65 victory over the SLB Trophy winners Caledonia Gladiators in St Albans.

Leading 67-65 with less than a minute to go, Oaklands were hanging on, but the duo of Sam Ashby and Terri Battle saw them to North Greenwich next week from the foul line.

Jubilation for the Wolves, who have the opportunity to chase the domestic treble this season. However, it was heartbreak for Caledonia, whose chance for a double-winning campaign falls short.

Ashby led Oaklands with 20 points, five rebounds, and four steals, helped along by Danielle McCray’s all-around showcase of 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.

Mathilde Domenger paced Caledonia with 14 points and four assists.

B. Braun Sheffield Hatters 102-68 Newcastle Eagles

B. Braun Sheffield Hatters dispatched the Newcastle Eagles 102-68 to set up a rematch of March’s SLB Cup Final.

The Hatters were ruthless throughout, not giving Newcastle any room to breathe. In a devastating display, they shot a sublime 57% from the field.

Emma Gandini led five Sheffield players in double figures with 30 points, going an incredible 9/10 from the field and an even more staggering 8/9 from three-point land.

Nina Krisper added 19 points for the winners. Jada Guinn led the Eagles with 25.
