Nottingham Wildcats 92 – 65 Durham Palatinates (30-13, 44-32, 68-52)

Nottingham Wildcats are back on track after a crushing 92-65 defeat of Durham Palatinates at the Wildcats Arena gave them their second consecutive win, having started the season with back-to-back defeats.

Wildcats dominated this encounter from the outset and throughout, with Ashley Harris and Hannah Shaw scoring 17 each, as Palatinates remain one of two winless teams in the WBBL Championship.

Turning Point: Wildcats were in charge from tip to buzzer, after Ashley Harris opened proceedings with a three-pointer and they led 19-8 after just five minutes. Alyesha Lovett added six first quarter points and the hosts led 30-13 after ten minutes, never looking back.

Key Stat: Wildcats dominated this game and took a massive 90 field goals compared to Durham’s 54. That was largely due to a high number of offensive rebounds (20) and a huge 31 forced turnovers, from which they scored 33 of their points.
