It had looked unlikely for large chunks of an up and down campaign, but Nottingham Wildcats have once again attained a top four finish in the WBBL Championship.
They have managed the feat every year since the inception of the WBBL, this time completing a weekend win double with a hard-fought success against BA London Lions whose season is now over.

Turning point – It was 53-53 in the last 30 seconds when Alyesha Lovett converted the bucket that got Wildcats over the line, also sinking a couple of late free-throws too.
Key stat – Wildcats benefited from 21 points from turnovers, with 13 fast break points.
Game hero – Lovett was the standout player with a smart 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winning team.
